The Itinerary

A 10 days safari that takes you through Kenya’s top destinations giving you a complete overview of this fascinating country. A tour of the world’s famous bird sanctuary of Lake Nakuru with its huge flocks of pink flamingoes thronging the lake, Kenya’s premier wildlife adventure of Maasai Mara, the home of the new Seventh Wonder of the World, “The Great Migration” and boasts the greatest concentration of game in the vast grassland, Amboseli where you will come face to face with the largest land animal, the African Elephant, as they leisurely graze on the plains with Mount Kilimanjaro as a unique backdrop for sun rise and sun set! The wildlife experience is coated with the soaking up on the African sun of golden sunsets on the coastal beaches that are on the shores of the Indian ocean. Diani Beach is an idyllic seaside paradise with beautiful white sandy beaches and warm turquoise-azure waters. History buffs will enjoy exploring the 16th-century Fort Jesus and Old Town with its narrow streets, ancient Swahili dwellings, markets, and souvenir shops. For those who enjoy exploring below the surface, go snorkeling or scuba diving from a traditional dhow, Dolphin watching and deep-sea fishing.

Days 1: Nairobi 

Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to your hotel for overnight stay on bed and breakfast

Days 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park

After early morning breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru with a stopover at the viewpoint of Great Rift Valley and to arrive in time for lunch. Late afternoon game drive to see one of the largest ornithological spots, Flamingo, and a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara Reserve

Early morning breakfast and drive to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch and check in at your hotel. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Masai Mara

Early morning game drive in the park and return back to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you go on a full day game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and the dangerous crocodiles with a visit to Mara river. Evening visit to the Masai Village and later have a group Bush Dinner. After dinner drive back to your hotel for the night.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Amboseli National Park

After an early morning breakfast drive to Nairobi en-route to Amboseli National Park(With the option of the Hot Air Ballon Safari in Masai Mara). Arrive in Nairobi on time for lunch and proceed with the safari(with flight option from Mara to Amboseli). Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains and the huge herds of elephants which take on a red colour from the dust they coat themselves in. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6:  Amboseli – Diani Beach

Early morning breakfast and game drive in the park enroute to the Coastal beaches looking for the big cats such as lion and cheetah as well as giraffe, impala, eland, waterbuck, gazelle, and more than 600 species of birds. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, savannah, and woodlands. Arriving in time for lunch and evening relaxing at the beach in Diani. Dinner and overnight stay in your hotel resort(with flight option from Amboseli to Ukunda).

Day 7-8:  Diani Beach

Morning breakfast at your hotel and thereafter spend the day by the beach sunbathing and relaxing. Lunch and dinner served in your hotel. (Optional engagement in the numerous water sports that are available including:- Scuba diving, snorkeling, wind surfing, big game fishing and deep sea diving)

Day 9: Diani – Nairobi

Morning breakfast and transfer by road to Mombasa town taking a trip around the famous UNESCO World Heritage site Fort Jesus built in 1593 to 1596 by the Portuguese. Transfer to Mombasa International Airport to aboard your flight back to Nairobi. Transfer to your hotel and later evening dinner at the Carnivore restaurant. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 10: Transfer to Airport

Morning breakfast and the optional Nairobi excursions taking you to the Giraffe Centre, Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen, the Nairobi National Museum and the visit to home-based groups to experience their handcraft skills.

Otherwise, if travelling back home, we will transfer to the airport in time for the flight to your destination.
