Holiday Theme: Wildlife, Nature & Culture Experiences

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Upon arrival, you will be met by our representatives and a short briefing of your safari. Depart to Amboseli National Park. Most famous for its stunning views of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the park offers photographers the rare opportunity to snap photos of elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes against the startling backdrop of Africa’s most famous mountain. Depending your flight arrival, freshen up and have a hot breakfast/lunch at your lodge. Thereafter an afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Amboseli

Early morning for an unforgettable sunrise game drive with Kilimanjaro giving a stunning panorama look. During the game drive you will be on look for predators such as leopards, lions, and cheetahs out on the prowl in the cooler morning air. Return for a late breakfast and relaxing at your lodge. Afternoon game drive in the open plains and the huge herds of elephants which take on a red colour from the dust they coat themselves in. Enjoy the evening sun set with a view of the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Early morning breakfast and drive through the bustling City of Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy also known as Sweet Waters with a stopover at the equator line for photo sessions and a “change of hemispheres” demonstration. Check in at your lodge, freshen up and have a hot lunch. An afternoon visit to the park’s famous chimpanzee sanctuary to meet face to face its adopted residents and later proceed for an afternoon game drive in the conservancy. Dinner and overnight stay.


Day 4: Ol Pejeta – Samburu National Park


Morning breakfast and drive in search for the only two remaining endangered northern white rhinos in the world and East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary. It’s also home to the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, and leopard). You’ll trade the well-known safari spots off-the-beaten-track as you head to the semi-desert Northern Frontier of Samburu. Check in at your hotel for lunch and short rest. Enjoy a thrilling afternoon game drive in the park. Unique to this area are reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and the Somali ostrich. There are also lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, leopards, other big game and 100 species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Samburu Cultural Walk

Early morning game drive and return back to your hotel for a late breakfast. Short moment of relaxation. Late afternoon tribal walks with Samburu Warriors who will be happy to share with you about their culture and life style. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park

Morning breakfast and drive to Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley to arrive in time for lunch. Later afternoon game drive to see one of the largest ornithological spots, Flamingo, and a variety of wildlife including spot baboons, buffalo, lions, leopards, eland, waterbucks, and not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7:  Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara Reserve

Early morning breakfast and drive to Maasai Mara Kenya’s premier wildlife park and is the home to the greatest concentration of game animals in the world arriving in time for lunch. You continue to explore this afternoon game drive in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. At sunset, you will visit a section of the Mara River where we hope to see many hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Maasai Mara

Early morning game drive in the park and return back to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you go on a full day game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, etc. Maasai Mara the vast, open grasslands of the Serengeti-Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. These includes over 1.4 million wildebeest which migrate in an enormous, struggling herd each year between the southern part of the Serengeti to the northern part and back again. Evening visit to the Masai Village, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Morning breakfast, (with an option of taking to the skies with a hot air balloon safari that will see you soar above all of the action before setting down on the plains for a champagne breakfast among the wildlife.) and later drive to Nairobi for lunch and relaxation at your hotel. Evening dinner at the famous Carnivore restaurant. Overnight stay.

 

Day 10- Transfer to Airport

Morning breakfast and the optional Nairobi excursions taking you to the Giraffe Centre, Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen and the Nairobi National Museum. Transfer to the airport in time for the flight to your next destination.
